Financial assistance is available under the program up to a maximum of $600. More specifically, assistance is granted as two amounts:

• $350 for the purchase of an eligible charging station

• $250 for the installation of the charging station and its power supply infrastructure

To receive both amounts, the applicant must provide proof that he or she has incurred the eligible expenses.

The rebate application must apply to a home charging station.

• The applicant must be the owner or lessee of an all-electric vehicle, a plug-in hybrid vehicle, a low-speed electric vehicle or an electric motorcycle.

• In the case of a used vehicle, the vehicle owner’s name and the address at which the charging station is installed must be different from previous applications linked to the vehicle.

• The purchase of the charging station and the installation work must be completed before filing the rebate application and no later than December 31, 2020.
